Meet the Next Congresswoman for
Washington's 5th Congressional District

Terri Cooper

I love Washington State.  I moved to Medical Lake in the early 70s when my father was transferred to Fairchild Air Force Base. I fell in love with the beauty and the people. My husband Ken and I were high school sweethearts, marrying not long after graduation, and ultimately made Medical Lake our home. We have three children, eleven grandchildren, and a sweet cat named TC.

I have been a public servant most of my adult life with a career in municipal government and over the years have invested a great deal of my spare time in our communities. As one of the founding members of Re*Imagine Medical Lake and the current Mayor of Medical Lake, I want to build upon my decades of public service throughout Washington State to make Eastern Washington an even better place to live, work, and play as the next Congresswoman representing the wonderful people of Washington’s 5th Congressional District.

The Essentials You Need To Know

In the Beginning...

Mayor Terri Cooper is running for Washington’s 5th Congressional seat to represent the wonderful people of Eastern Washington.

She has resided in the Medical Lake area since 1973, having relocated there when her Air Force father was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base. Soon thereafter, she graduated from Medical Lake High School. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Ken Cooper, and they have three children and eleven grandchildren. Terri and Ken have made their home in Medical Lake since 1982 where she currently serves as Mayor.

Why Terri's Right for Congress, Right Now...

Terri brings to Washington’s 5th Congressional District a deep love for the community and the nation as evidenced by more than 25 years of experience in key leadership positions in various regional organizations and municipal government–to include proudly serving as the current Mayor of Medical Lake.

Terri is NOT running for this position for money, power, or prestige, which is why so many of her family, friends, colleagues, and elected leaders called her directly to encourage her to run. She is running because she was asked to run by We the People in her community and she wants to help ensure our community and our nation do not fall under the spell of the misguided leadership that has driven America to the brink.

This is your campaign...

Whether you’re willing to make a financial contribution to our campaign, put a sign in your yard, share our campaign on social media, or support our campaign in another way, Terri greatly appreciates your help and support.
